The Underground
A mushroom is just the part you can see. The real intelligence is the network beneath it.
Under every forest runs a living network — fine threads weaving through the soil, connecting tree to tree, carrying signals and nourishment across the whole. The mushroom is only its fruit. The network itself stays hidden, and does the quiet work of keeping everything connected.
SeedTree has one too.
Yourcelium is the underground — the substrate that holds who you are. Your identity, your trust, your profile live here, beneath all the surfaces, belonging to you and carried with you wherever you go. You’re not a fresh account on every app you touch; you’re one rooted self, recognised across the whole ecosystem.
Hyphe is the sensing layer — the threads themselves. It reads the terrain, maps how people, projects, ideas and places relate, and grows the Landscape from the outside in. It senses where connection wants to happen and helps it happen. Mostly, you’ll never see it working. That’s the point. Like the mycelium, it does its work in the dark so the forest above can flourish in the light.
Together they’re the reason SeedTree can feel coherent rather than scattered — the unseen architecture that lets a movement know itself.
You don’t need to understand any of this to belong here. It simply holds you, the way good soil holds a root.
